Day 7

and I week is up! Doing great feeling good!

I had today off work to take Oz to the doctor, so I slept in.

Breakfast was a BBQ tofu sandwich.  yummy

Lunch was eaten in the car.  grapes, dates, and almonds.

Dinner was homemade veggie sushi (which I prepared yesterday, sushi is best if you leave it in the fridge overnight)  and veggie tempura. For sushi you make rice, I add extra water to make it stickier.  Then spread it on a nori (seaweed) while it is still warm.  Line with veggies and then roll.  Now there is an art to rolling sushi, I am not that talented at it so my rolls are a little sloppy, but just as tasty.  For tempura heat oil, basically make pancake batter with garlic and dip veggies in it then fry.  and Voila dinner!

Conclusion.  Delicious.  I love sushi, my favourite is Black Dragon, but that has eel.  The veggie version is just as tasty.  Tempura was great, loved the zucchini and mushrooms most.  Len doesn't like sushi so he opted to eat leftover tofu and pumpkin noodles, I assume he liked those.
