I am a very lucky person. I was born into a great family. I have brothers that I like, and even liked when I was little. I have cool funny parents. I have great aunts, uncles and cousins. I was lucky enough to live around the corner from a family of seven kids who became some of my very best friends. I have the devotion of an awesome dog. I have enough money to be comfortable (though a bit more wouldn't bother me). I am healthy. I live in a wonderful country. I have had the opportunity to travel. Life is good.
Len and I have gone to Cuba to celebrate the fourth kid's wedding. and we went on a truly amazing trip to Switzerland and Italy. In February of next year we are going to Panama. Oh and two of those trips we didn't have to pay for (cause I am lucky).
Today's song is Say Hey (I love you) by Michael Franti and Spearhead. I always thought if I got married I would walk down the aisle to this, cause it is funny and romantic. But the reason that it makes me think of Len is the line "my mama told me, don't lose you, cause the best luck I had was you". Len is the best luck I've had.
